Good eats at Quality Meats follows a soggy day in Manhattan

Steer at Quality MeatsToday was not a great day to be out and about. The Adventurers made a midday dash to the iconic Apple story on Fifth Avenue to get some questions answered by not one but two geniuses who, were actually that. And both pleasant, in contrast to some of their fellow geniuses who strut their stuff  at Silicon Valley retail branches.

That they were more idle than usual today meant they had to rely on past calorie burners to justify their dinner at Quality Meats, a newish midtown steakhouse that only sounds like a meat market. The meat was indeed good, and L had what she considers one of the best beet salads ever.

Both a wall of hand towels and steer-head caught their iPhone camera’s attention…
