Hiking atop a mountain on the Glacier Ridge Trail

hiking Tahoe Donner's Glacier Ridge TrailThe The trio of D, L and Nikki went local today (along with the Mag), hiking the Glacier Ridge Trail, that (all things considered) was level. The payoff was a good view of Donner Lake below.

The loop took them slightly downhill and then (of course) slightly uphill. It would have been really easy if it wasn’t for higher than normal Sierra temperatures.

We do need to mention that Maggie the dog was, as always, a trooper. And, just for the record, we got a shadowing people shot…
