Faces say it all – welcome to Panama City

The Adventurers landed in Panama City last night after a long day of travel, that was, at least, hassle free. (No delayed flights or out of control children.) The most they could do was drag themselves downstairs to the decent tapas bar at the Hotel del Ville in the Campo Allegro neighborhood where they’re staying.

So this morning, it was out to see the City, which meant a long walk along the Bay of Panama that is lined by a biking/walking path that goes on for miles. They could hear music in the distance, which they discovered was a succession of high school marching bands, often lead by kids in colorful Panamanian costumes.

They also stopped in a fish market, which even on a Sunday morning had some stalls open. One gentleman was more than happy to show off the catch of the days…
