Princesses come in all sizes on Jane’s wedding day

Bride Jane was married today in a real castle, an event venue called Pleasantdale Chateau. Constructed in the early 20th century when an industrialist Charles Nickols bought a number of contiguous Dutch farms. After his death in 1959, the house was left to the board of directors of his company, Allied Signal, for use as an exclusive corporate training retreat before being purchased by the Knowles family who undertook a major restoration, including the planting of 900 trees.

The ballroom where the wedding and dinner took place was added by the Knowles but guests could freely roam throughout the house. Grace and her Dad had spent the night there. The little girls seemed to take to their princess surroundings…
