An afternoon look at the past through the lens of a camera

L speaking at photo dedication

This afternoon L and Timmie went over to the Western Reserve Academy campus to attend the dedication of a permanent photo exhibit of alum Chris Gulker, L’s late husband.

It was at Reserve that Chris first got the photo bug, thanks to a teacher by the name of Bill Moose. Chris had been an active alum, serving on the Board of Visitors and attending the reunions every five years. This would have been his 45th.

The dozen or so classmates who were attending this year all turned out, along with the headmaster and other staff. It was a lovely tribute and a fitting punctuation mark on a life well spent…
