The Adventurers woke up to light rain but that didn’t deter them from heading out south along Lake Michigan with the Field Museum as their destination.

LandD_bean reflection_vertIn all her visits to Chicago, L had never been. There was a special exhibit on biomechanics where they got to see what parts of their bodies losing heat, along with a great exhibit centered around an Egyptian tomb. That they spent so much time exploring that surprised them as neither are big on Egyptian stuff, Raiders of the Lost Ark type expeditions aside.

They came back through Grant and then Millennium Park with the obligatory visit to the Bean. (Note: photo right is reflection on the Bean). L learned that the Bean’s real name is Cloud Gate.

The good morning was topped off by good Cajun/Creole lunch at Heaven on Seven…
