The Adventurers and The Mag headed out to Arastradero open space today for a loop hike that involved a couple of good climbs and a long, steady ascent. It reminded them that a hike was an important mix in their other exercise, using slightly different muscles.
There’s also the sights and sounds of being out doors a bit removed from the busyness of life. Today they came upon a family of wild turkeys with the sunlight hitting their feathers in just the right way to make them shimmer. They also saw a bit of green, the result of recent rains.
