Heading to Seattle for baseball and grand baby

L and D at Safeco Field

D, Wilder and JillThe Adventurers flew north to Seattle this morning to watch the Giants play the Mariners at Safeco field – and visit grandson Wilder, now 7 months old. They last seen him six months ago and when they walked over to pick up at day care with daughter Jill it was immediately clear how much he’d grown – and what a smiley, happy little guy he is.

It was a first time visit to Safeco for the Adventurers and they were struck with how much more territory it covers inside the stadium compared to shoe-horned in AT&T. The field seats go back forty rows, which they figure is another third rows compared to their home ball park.

The fun thing about the evening is that the cheers for the Giants were as loud as those for the Mariners. They guessed up to 25% of the crowd sported the orange and black. And for good measure, the Giants beat the Mariners 7-0…
