Enjoying the bluff top views from Fiscilini open space

D and Mag at Fiscilini Open Space

The Adventurers headed up to Fiscilini open space, 400 plus acres of land on a bluff in Cambria. Besides great ocean views, the Friends of Fiscilini have built a series of benches out of driftwood, which are interesting to me – and provided a good place for D and The Mag to poise.

From there they headed north, destination Carmel. But they didn’t make it. At their lunch stop at Ragged Point, D lost the car keys. That started three hours or so of misery while they figure out the best thing to do among not very good option.

They finally decided to get towed back to Cambria, spend the night – at what turned out to be the delightful Blue Dolphin – and wait for locksmith in the morning.

One of those road mishaps they would have opted to avoid…
