Checking out the sights in Golden Gate Park

train show at Conservatory of Flowers

D in front of Conservatory of FlowersL had an appointment up at UCSF to get her eyeballs measured (don’t ask) and not knowing if that would require dilation, D came along for the ride.

It was a chilly early March day but good enough for a walk in Golden Gate Park, as long as they bundled up.

L had heard about a special exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers that was a miniature replica of the Pan Pacific Exposition in 1919 that just maybe her parents had attended as children. That it featured trains was a even better reason to visit.

Alas, it was a bit of a dud. Not many trains and kind of small. But it the walk around the park was nice nonetheless…
