Taking advantage of Mag-free morning to check out the wildflowers at Edgewood

D on trail in Edgewood Park

wildflowers in Edgewood ParkMaggie had a grooming appointment this morning, so the Adventurers used the opportunity to hike at Edgewood Preserve, which doesn’t allow dogs and whose wildflowers are at their peak.

Skies were grey, so the flowers were not as shimmering as the day InMenlo contributing photographer Frances Freyberg was there, but they were pretty to see nevertheless.

Both Adventurers agreed that it’s nice to do a non-butt kicker from time to time. There is a little climbing at Edgewood but it’s fairly gentle and the trail surface is free of rocks and other potential ankle twisters. And not that’s not D sitting on the job, just using a rock to sit while he retied his boots.

A very nice way to spend a spring morning…
