Making the most of Carroll Canyon after a morning misstep

L with auraSometimes it pays to read the guidebook – and believe what it says.

The Adventurers awoke early as the sun comes up in non-daylight savings time Arizona shortly after 5:00 am. They thought they’d make the most of the morning light by going out for a hike around Cathedral Rock. Except when they got there, the park with the trails they wanted was closed until 8:00 am (just as the guidebook had warned).

They happened to meet a local guide who recommended a loop hike in the Carroll Canyon area and that’s what they did. It might not have been as planned but it did serve as a leg stretcher.

Oh, and D managed to get a photo of L with her aura. A Who Da Thunk in New Age Sedona…
