Blast from the Reid family past with a walk around Stow Lake

L at Stow Lake waterfallWhile L grew up in Menlo Park, a number of her mother’s Reid family siblings remained in  San Francisco where they had all grown up. This meant frequent trips to the City.

They all lived in the Sunset just blocks from Golden Gate Park, where one of her uncles was a gardener. And they all enjoyed the brisk air of the City and walking.

One favorite was walking around Stow Lake. L remembers the outer pathway more vividly than the path around the hillside in the middle of the lake. The Adventurers explored both today.

And The City cooperated. It was windy and a cool 59 degrees…

Walk/easy except for a bit of climbing to get the inner hill/4.1 miles
