Great coastal trek to Apple Tree Bay in Abel Tasman National Park

trailhead-of-abel-tastman-coastal-track-1What a great normal day (if not for one big jolt!). That didn’t deter the Adventurers from setting off on a great hike in Abel Tasman National Park.

At the trailhead they encountered three young women who took their photo. Two of them had gone to St. Francis High School in Mountain View and knew neighbors Nate and Malea.

They walking was easy; they’d taken their poles but didn’t really need them as the trial was nearly rock free with easy up and down descents.

At their destination and turn around spot, Apple Tree Bay, D spied a particularly good looking gull who poised for a photo…

Wonderful photos from both you and Dennis! You are doing it right– absorbing the country in its fullest! I assume you’ll get to Australia soon? You don’t seem to be under any time constraint, which is good. Keep the pics coming! I’m sure the rest will be relatively calm!
