Chock a block with grandkids on a busy Sunday

Yesterday afternoon D’s daughter Jill and family arrived after driving all night from Seattle. Needless to say they were a tired crew.

As usual, the first thing James asked to do was “let’s check on the garden” and he showed two-year-old Wilder the ropes. Digging is what is most fun about the garden.

Next up for James and D was a game of croquet as L and Gracie took off to see Menlowe Ballet’s It’s a Wonderful Nutcracker. It was at M-A, and Grace was good enough to poise in front of the Class of ’66.

The good day ended with D’s spaghetti and a rousing game of Yahtzee..
