Exploring a new part of the Bay Trail on crisp winter day

shadowy-along-the-bay-trail-in-redwood-shore-1The weather forecast is for a two-day respite from the rain with more rain expected over the next week. So, the Adventurers made the most of cool, windy winter day with a walk along a segment of the Bay Trail.

The set off from a parking lot on Twin Dolphin Parkway along a segment of the Trail that neither had explored before. The paved or gravel trail had tons of puddles for Maggie to romp in but no muddy patches that they would have encountered on their favorites area hiking paths.

They made up for the lack of climbing with distance, going on a circular path that netted just over 6 miles.

They vistas were great as was the bird watching. Good choice on a crisp day…
