Chilly, wintery Stanford walk – but no rain!

shadowy-near-lake-lag-1It’s rained and rained and rained lately on the Peninsula. The Adventurers have been getting out when they can. This morning looked a bit threatening but they set out nevertheless.

It was also very cool – in the high 40s, and that’s chilly by Bay Area standards. That didn’t seem to bother The Mag, who splashed in every puddle she found.

Their destination was Lake Lagunita on the Stanford campus, which L had seen with water for the first time in ages earlier in the week. Three days later there was even more. All good, by Maggie’s standards.

And the winter sun produces long shadows…
