A walk to the shopping center past a strange looking vehicle

The Adventurers had a number of items that need to get at the Stanford Shopping Center today. So under somewhat threatening skies and big gusts of wind, they set out late morning.

They got their errands down, ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen (recalling what a big deal it was when it came to Palo Alto 30 or so years ago) and then headed back home, walking behind the Vi retirement community.

It was there they came upon a very strange looking vehicle, one they’d never seen before. It had door like a minivan but was much wider and not as long. It looked built to last.
