Getting on the water for a paddle on the Albion River

The Adventurers departed the Anderson Valley before noon today, enjoying the beautiful drive out to the coast.

Turning north, they stopped at the Albion River campground (a meth-lab looking place, in L’s estimation) for a paddle up the river of the same name, the first of the trip.

It was easy going outbound but a bit of a struggle on the return given the incoming tide and wind.

But there were lots of interesting old buildings along the way. And the scenery was breathtaking…
