The Big River lives up to its name

The Adventurers paddled on the Big River today, which is just outside the town of Mendocino. They launched east of the bridge and headed up stream.

Again, the current took them along and again they faced some wind and the incoming tide paddling back. But it as strenuous as their trip on the Albion River.

The Big River is wide and there’s not much to see, beautiful trees aside. A good upper body workout, and nice to be on the water…

Kayak/moderate to easy/5.25 miles

Thanks for sharing this adventure, you two! So happy that retirement seems to agree with you– hoping for the same in about a year!
