Trip to Target to complete Christmas with gift card buying

The morning started as it often does with Grace and L taking Maggie for a walk. Love the shadows from the low winter sun.

While D headed out for an afternoon of marshaling at the Stanford Golf Course, L took the kiddos to Target to cash in the gift cards she’d given each of them. Showing the true transitional age she’s in, Grace chose a book, a picture frame, ¬†Grossery Gang action set and Silly Putty. James picked out some Pokeman cards, a NCAA branded basketball and the big prize, a game called ChronoBomb that he’d seen advertised on TV (something that L is always skeptical about.

It took D sometime to set it up. Lots of instructions to read. He set it up in the kitchen. The object is to pick up 8 cards scattered a different places while navigating ropes. It was a bit of a challenge even for the nimble kiddos, but good fun.
