The Adventurers both thought Coyote Hills would be a good destination for their hike today. They knew it would be green following the rains and there were only mild winds forecast.
They’d walked the almost four mile perimeter trails numerous times but with the low sun today, the marshlands took on a glow (more vivid than L’s photo shows).
There also seemed to be an abundance of birds, with egrets of many sizes and hawks circling in the sky looking for a meal.
What was nice, in particular, was the near silence. Only a few other hikers were out and about.
After the hike they headed over the the Dog Haus to undo any good they’d done. But boy are those dogs delicious…
